Guatemala charter captains specialize in light tackle billfishing so many of our world records are on light tackle or on-the-fly.   But that does not prevent our clients from landing a trophy sailfish or marlin on the fishing tackle they prefer.

The choice of fishing gear is always the angler’s. Clients typically use our top-of-line professional tackle from Avet, Penn, Pinnacle, and Shimano but are always welcome to bring their own fishing rods, reels, teasers or flies. We have a great assortment of teasers and lures and are especially successful with the Lobo line of big game lures.  In fact, we are the testing company for all their new releases.
